- The Shyam Temple of Dhanbad was constructed in 1997 by the local Rajasthani merchant community organized under the Sri Shyam Mandir Samiti. Designed to replicate the famous Khatu Shyam Temple of Rajasthan, it was built using high-grade marble and traditional Rajasthani architectural styles. It has since become the largest and most influential center for Shyam devotion in Jharkhand.
