History
- Founder
- Saamba (Son of Lord Krishna)
- According to Kashi Khand, Sage Narada traveled to Dwaraka and was welcomed by Krishna's sons, but Saamba remained aloof. Cursed with leprosy as a result, Saamba traveled to Kashi and established Saamba Aditya to regain health.
Significance
- Saamba Aditya is renowned as a pilgrimage center for overcoming physical diseases, skin afflictions, and curses. Devotees offer prayers here to seek physical vitality and health blessings from Lord Surya.
