- Devi Talab Mandir is situated in the heart of Jalandhar around an ancient sacred water pond (Talab) over 200 years old. The temple complex was renovated in the mid-20th century, culminating in a gold-plated main structure modeled after the Harimandir Sahib. It is famous for hosting the annual Harballabh Sangeet Sammelan since 1875.
Significance
- Devi Talab Mandir is recognized as one of the 51 sacred Shakti Peethas, where Goddess Sati's left breast fell. The deity is worshipped as Goddess Tripurmalini accompanied by Krodhish Bhairava.
