Perched on a 100-foot high isolated hill, the hypaethral circular stone temple houses 64 peripheral small chambers surrounding a central courtyard shrine. It is maintained as a national monument by the ASI.

- Chausath Yogini Temple in Mitawali is a rare circular open-air Tantric temple featuring 64 inner chambers, each containing a Shivlinga and image of a Yogini surrounding a central Shiva shrine. Its circular colonnaded design famously served as the architectural inspiration for the Old Parliament House (Samvidhan Sadan) in New Delhi.
